Keven Smith, President and Chief Executive Officer
Keven Smith has more than 20 years of experience in mortgage technology. Prior to his role as president and CEO of Mortgage Builder Software, Smith held the position of vice president of GCC Servicing Systems, formerly known as Glenn Computer Corporation. As president of Mortgage Builder, He is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the company as well as managing the day-to-day operations. Smith also develops vendor and customer partnerships, oversees technical product management activities, customer support and client relations.
Smith is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Residential Technology Providers Forum, which provides a voice for the industry’s residential technology software and services providers. In addition, he is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America (MBAA), National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB) and the Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association, where he serves on the technology committee.
A graduate of Lawrence Technological University, Smith received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an associate’s degree in computer information systems.
Liz Resovsky, Vice President of Operations
As Vice President of Operations, Liz heads up product development and the customer support department, working closely with clients and Mortgage Builder’s programmers on customizations and innovations for future development, as well as client relationships and training.
She joined Mortgage Builder in 1997 from a Michigan regional mortgage banker, where she was in charge of secondary marketing.  Prior, she ran operations for a mortgage banking firm, helping build the company from six employees to 450 and preparing its purchase by a national financial services company.  At Mortgage Builder, she was part of the core management team that migrated the loan origination system (LOS) from DOS to Windows, serving as product development manager.
Wearing many hats over the years, she was a key component in the company’s growth from a dozen clients to over 100 highly satisfied companies today, garnering the industry’s most enviable customer retention record among the leading LOS companies.  She remains closely and personally involved with Mortgage Builder’s clients, handling queries, calls and emails from them every day.
A Michigan native, Liz Resovsky resides in Roseville with her husband Brian and their 2 dogs.
Keven Gusler, Applications Developer
Kevin joined Mortgage Builder in 1998.  Prior to coming on board, he worked at a Southfield based mortgage company for 4 years. Over the years with Mortgage Builder, Kevin has been an asset to the team.  He successfully directs many avenues of our business growth including Application Developer, being a part of the Implementation team and managing new installs for clients.
Kevin is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and has a BBA in Real Estate Finance.
Kevin, along with his wife and three children, enjoys spending time with family, gardening and working on local community projects.
Bill Mitchell, Vice President of Sales
Bill Mitchell, a 18-year veteran of corporate sales, including ten plus years in mortgage technology and professional services within the real estate finance industry, currently holds the position of Vice President of Sales at Mortgage Builder Software, Inc, located in Southfield, MI. Over the last ten years, Mitchell has successfully delivered over 500 systems to real estate finance firms, including many of the top 250 lenders in the industry. Since Mitchell's start in October 2007, the company has opened up new regional sales offices in Phoenix, AZ, Raleigh, NC, and Jupiter, FL to support the company's growth. The company's customer base has increased by over (47%) and welcomed new customers in an additional 16 states since 2007. Mortgage Builder proudly maintains one of the highest customer retention ratings in the industry.
In this position, Mitchell is responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of sales efforts to support the further growth of Mortgage Builder nationwide. Through direct correlation between corporate goals and regional development with regional sales offices in FL, AZ and NC, Mitchell's core focus is building long-term profitable relationships by managing the strategic sales process for Mortgage Builder's core Loan Origination System (LOS)
Prior to joining Mortgage Builder, Mitchell was regional manager at Lender E-Source directing and supporting all sales efforts while building long-term relationships in the eastern region of the United States. While at LES, prior to the acquisition by Allregs in 2007, Mitchell was instrumental in closing multiple high profile customer partnerships. Prior to that Bill served as Regional Manager for a CA based technology software firm supporting East Coast territories and while there 2005-2006, was National Channel Manager for Credit Union under Fiserv ownership.
Bill has also held positions as National Vendor Manager for a top 10 Loan Servicer and publically traded mortgage banking company located in the Southeast. Bill worked with high profile customers including but not limited to Bank of America and Wells Fargo.
With a commitment to lifelong learning and improvement, Mitchell attended MBA's School of Mortgage Banking in 2002. Miller Heiman's Executive Strategic & Conceptual Selling. Gold Coast School of Real Estate, Northwood University's School of Management, and New England Technical Institute. Mitchell actively competes in USAT Olympic distance and Half Ironman triathlons & recently finished Iron Man FL in just over 13 hours. He resides in Palm Beach County FL, with his wife and their two children. Charities include Kids Wish Network and Operation Smile.
Kelli Himebaugh, Western Regional Sales Manager
Kelli joined Mortgage Builder in 2008 to develop and grow the Western United States. Before working in the mortgage industry, Kelli spent 18 years working in sales, finance, sales training and recruiting for 3 national builders of manufactured housing. She joined the mortgage industry in 2003 working for Guaranty Bank for four years. She was a Sales Manager for AZ, CA and NV for two years before starting and overseeing their correspondent division for the Pacific region. She transitioned from GB to ProLender Solutions to learn more about mortgage lending operations and technology.  Kelli is an integral part of the Mortgage Builder success over the last few years.
Kelli lives in Phoenix, Arizona with her husband Steve and Shelby Lou, their puppy. They spend a lot of time outdoors in Arizona fishing, camping and at their cabin in Northern Arizona to escape the summer heat. Her personal favorite pastime however is cooking and entertaining friends.

Kelli Himebaugh, Corporate Vice President

Kelli joined Mortgage Builder in 2008 and has been an integral part of Mortgage Builder's success over the last few years. Upon joining Mortgage Builder she was responsible for the development and growth of the sales in the Western United States sales territory. In September 2010, Kelli took on a new role as head of the newly formed Client Development department within Mortgage Builder. Her experience and growth have continued and in November 2011, she was promoted to Corporate Vice President. Kelli works with new clients beginning with product demonstrations through the training and implementation phases of the sales cycle. She also works with existing clients as Mortgage Builder introduces new modules and enhancements to help clients familiarize themselves with capabilities and new potential to help them grow their businesses.

Before working in the mortgage industry, Kelli spent 19 years working in sales, finance, sales training and recruiting for 3 national home builders. During her time in this industry she developed programs that were specifically designed to provide homebuyers with an experience of having a sales professional truly focused on satisfying their dominant buying motives to find the right home and also making them successful homeowners.

She joined the mortgage industry in 2003 working for Guaranty Bank for four years. She was the Wholesale Sales Manager for AZ, CA and NV for two years before starting and overseeing their correspondent division for the Pacific region. She transitioned from Guaranty Bank to Mortgage Technology in 2007.

Liz Fafette, Vice President of Operations

Kevin joined Mortgage Builder in 1998.  Prior to coming on board, he worked at a Southfield based mortgage company for 4 years. Over the years with Mortgage Builder, Kevin has been an asset to the team.  He successfully directs many avenues of our business growth including Application Developer, being a part of the Implementation team and managing new installs for clients.

Kevin is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and has a BBA in Real Estate Finance.  

Bill Mitchell, Vice President and National Sales Manager

Bill Mitchell, a 18-year veteran of corporate sales, including twelve plus years in mortgage technology and professional services within the real estate finance industry, currently holds the position of Vice President of Sales at Mortgage Builder Software, Inc, located in Southfield, MI. Over the last twelve years, Mitchell has successfully delivered over 500 systems to real estate finance firms, including many of the top 250 lenders in the industry. Since Mitchell's start in October 2007, the company has opened up new regional sales offices in Dallas, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Raleigh, NC, and Jupiter, FL to support the company's growth rate which exceeds 40% with new customer acquisitions each year.  

Prior to joining Mortgage Builder, Mitchell was Eastern Regional Manager at Lender E-Source directing and supporting all sales efforts. While at LES, prior to the acquisition by Allregs in 2007, Mitchell was instrumental in closing multiple high profile customer partnerships. Prior to that Bill served as Regional Manager for a CA based technology software firm supporting East Coast territories and while there 2005-2006, was National Channel Manager for Credit Union under Fiserv ownership. 

Bill has also held positions as National Vendor Manager for a top 10 Loan Servicer and publically traded mortgage banking company located on the Eastern seaboard.  Bill has worked with high profile customers including but not limited to Bank of America, Chase and Wells Fargo but enjoys the speed of delivery and flexibility in the small to mid tier segments of the industry which allows the sales team at Mortgage Builder to react to clients needs so that we may earn mutual rewards and long term trust.
