San Antonio is a popular destination, especially in the early fall when temperatures are cooler. That’s why we’ve reserved a block of rooms for Mortgage Builder conference attendees available at special rates.

Feel free to use the Request for Approval letter we’ve drafted in order to help you obtain permission to attend the conference, which you can tailor for your specific business. It lists the educational opportunities and benefits extended at the conference as well as total estimated costs.

Discounted Room Rate

Visit the special Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa link to obtain the conference room rate of $185 per night, single or double occupancy, plus taxes. The discounted room rate is available from September 26 through October 7 for those choosing to spend additional time in San Antonio. Reservations must be made prior to Friday, September 8 to receive the group rate. The hotel encourages guests to secure their rooms as soon as possible as discounted rooms are available on a space available basis and are expected to sell out.


The Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa is 16 miles from the San Antonio Airport — about 21 minutes away.

The hotel is easily accessible by cab (approximately $40 each way) and rental car. The Hyatt Regency Hill Country offers complimentary self-parking for hotel guests.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the conference dress code?

Business casual attire is appropriate throughout the conference. We recommend bringing a jacket as our evening events will be outside where temperatures may dip. Flat shoes are also recommended as our events will be on the lawn.

What is covered under the conference registration fee?

The registration fee includes:

  • Full access to all general sessions, breakouts and roundtables
  • Sponsor Showcase networking opportunities
  • Meals and breaks as indicated on the conference agenda
  • Welcome Reception and evening events

The conference registration fee does not cover:

  • Transportation
  • Hotel charges
  • Incidentals

Can my spouse attend?

The conference educational sessions are open to registered attendees only. However, guests/spouses are welcome to join you for our Welcome Reception and Evening Events at a nominal fee. Please register your guest(s) during the registration process for an additional fee of $150 per person.

If my plans change, can I cancel or transfer my registration?

The following are the Conference Registration Terms & Conditions:

Cancellation Policy:

  • Full refunds will be granted for written cancellations received before August 4, 2017
  • Written cancellations received between August 5 and September 1, 2017 will be refunded the amount paid minus $200 per registration
  • Registration fees received after September 1, 2017 are not refundable
  • Refunds will not be granted for no-shows
  • Transfer Policy: Registrations are transferable
